Server is Updated to MC 1.2.4

The server is finally updated to the latest version of Bukkit,  RB 1.2.4-R1.0 (#2126). Of course now that we got here, they are close to releasing MC 1.2.5 ....

Rant aside, here is some changes:

+ TrainCarts
New plugin to replace the lost functions from the old MinecartMania, its added for testing purposes, if we like it and things work as we want them to, we will most likely keep this.
Don't get too attached to this plugin just yet, but feel free to test it.
All permissions are given to the Vip group.

~ Replaced Log with BlockLog
Due to certain problems with the old Log plugin, we saw the need for some changes, its not a whole lot of plugins that im happy with in this area, but I found a working replacement so thats a lot better than the old one that didn't work.
Its important to remember while checking blocks with this new plugin that the logs are new, for older problems we still have the old logs to look at, but that can't be done via commands in-game.
To use this plugin, you have to type /blwand to activate the log wand, then use a stick just like the old plugin.


- Citizens
Since it was not working properly, we decided to leave it out of this update, this is only a temporary solution and we will install Citizens 2.0 when its ready, which should be soon.

And Minecraft updates again

Minecraft is updated to 1.2.4 to fix some bugs and issues.

You can play on Our Minecraft Server without updating so please do not update and if you have updated go to our Minecraft Downgrade Tutorial page and download the 1.2.3 or 1.2 minecraft.jar. The downgrading is very easy to do you can follow the easy steps as guided in the tutorial. you can also download the 1.2 minecraft.jar from our download section on the left which works fine on any 1.2.* server including 1.2.3 of course. any of you wanting to downgrade your server to 1.2 you can find the 1.2 minecraft_server.jar here.

Server is Back!!

After a few dozen hurdles and a lot of frustrating fixing we have managed to resurrect the server, for the curious mind here is a detailed story of what actually happened.

It started crashing ever since we updated (unstable Bukkit builds)

Windows 7 didn’t want to start and asked for a restore so we did and it restored back to a year ago. (Old HDD with old not working windows)

We lost all our server files they were nowhere to be found, it seemed like windows restore deleted the files (PC was booting from the HDD instead of the SSD)

Tried to undo the restore process, with no luck

Went to the other option to run a data recovery and while we were about to start the data recovery we found all the files on the drive as they were untouched

Fixed up a few things here and there, the server was back on to crash

This time around it wouldn’t even detect the drives

Replaced the wires and brought the server up only to crash again

Upon checking the drive cables again the server PC won’t even give display. (HDMI cable was loose)

Ditched the server PC to run the server from the other PC, worked fine for an hour and then crashed

Finally found what was really wrong, it was the SSD drive that kept messing up

Discarded the SSD, the server runs from the old HDD with the old restored windows 7 on the server PC
Hopefully there won't be any more complications any time soon.

Thanks for being patient it might not have been easy for most of us to pass our precious time without our playground but I hope you all survived one day without it, same goes for RobinR who thankfully continue to exist after trying to repair the server wasting his whole day.
